Are some SUVs too big?

At the moment it doesn't seem like people have a good enough mentality to handle a larger sized car. If you ask me, they should require additional licensing to prove they can drive safely in a bigger vehicle.

Thanks! It's a similar system to what most countries already use though (or at the very least my country) Different sizes of vehicles require different licenses.

Funny this thread is up because we experienced an a-hole in an SUV doing something stupid today. So we went to the store to get junk and we see this dude in a big SUV going atleast 75 down a 25 MPH zone, just to turn into a gas station that was just around the corner, he crashed into 3 cars, a baby was in one of them, he's alright, he also knocked a dude off his bike and almost ran him over. I've always feared being next to SUV's or big trucks on the highway or the road for that reason, I feel most of them are just idiotic drivers and feel like they own the road.

Wow............I don't even know what to say to this. I'm glad they were okay though. There are a lot of reckless drivers like that who don't think twice about anyone else.

My mom and I were ran off the road by a bimbo in her huge a** SUV. :(
Ugh, that f***ing sucks! Are you and your mom okay? This is the situation I am afraid of happening to one day because of how crazy some drivers can be.

We were driving and she tried to pull into our lane without signaling, well my mom had to pull the steering wheel over hard to avoid being hit. When she did that we jumped a curve and smashed right into a light pole, the b*** in the SUV kept on driving but was later stop by some witnesses. The cops said that if we were over by 2 more inches during the impact we wouldn't have made at the speed we were going. The seatbelts saved us from severe injuries. My mom had bruising around her collarbone and damage to her left leg.I ended up with a fracture in my right foot. We're ok though.

Man that is awful. I am glad your mom and you were able to get through it though. I'm also happy that the mad lady got pulled over because of the witnesses. Do you know if she got a ticket or her license revoked ?

Did you suffer fear from getting into a car after that? I'm curious because my mom had a fear of driving herself. She never got over it. While she will get into a car, she never got her license.

Did you ever get money for your foot or any other injury? I mean that's some serious business right there. Does your foot hurt?

As I was driving today, I saw 3 GMC vehicles in one area and they took up so much space. It was hard for other ppl to get by.

For the entire accident I think we got about $5,000.My foot does hurt from time to time. The doctor says I'm probably gonna have to live with that for the rest of my life.I wear those gel things you put in your shoes to help keep it from hurting.

Man, that sucks so badly. You guys got some money for the damages, yet somehow I don't think it is enough especially when you were given a permanent injury. I hope your foot doesn't hurt too much though.

It hasn't become worse as you got older then?

Speaking of massive SUVs, have you guys ever seen the trunks of some people's suvs? They pack it with stuff. I don't know how people can pack so much crap into their trucks. It is really messy and unorganized.
